DP World Hub Business Learning and Development is focused on building operational capability within the organisation through high quality, continuous and experience-based learning.
Developed in collaboration with leading international universities and other third party experts, our blended learning courses draw on the latest global best practice including micro-learning, collaborative learning and digital-based training.
By equipping employees from junior to senior level with the relevant skills and competencies, the Business L&D programmes align operational, functional and digital training to organisational goals to increase productivity and effectiveness and ultimately drive business growth. Courses are also available to organisations outside of DP World.
Operational training is the backbone of Business L&D. By partnering with key businesses and building relevant local training capabilities, the Business L&D team enhances operational and technical capabilities in the company. The team also works with leading global universities and third party experts on course design, delivery and support.
We take a “less is more” approach to digital learning, breaking down coursework into easily digestible “micro-bites” of information to help learners achieve specific, actionable objectives. From learning management systems to blogs, mobile apps and collaborative social training, our focus is on improving every touch point of the digital learning experience, making online education as accessible as possible.
By partnering with key stakeholders in enabling functions including HR, procurement, finance, security and IT, DP World Hub’s functional training is focused on aligning training requirements with the global job architecture. The team identifies key competencies and skills required by these divisions, performs a learning needs and analysis exercise and then implements relevant training to achieve the skills requirements.
