DP WORLD TO SHOWCASE EXCITING CAREER PROGRAMMES FOR EMIRATIS AT RU’YA 2025

DP World will participate in Ru’ya Careers 2025, showcasing its Emiratisation programmes and flexible, family-focused workplace policies. The annual event will take place from 23 - 25 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

As a Great Place to Work® and Parent Friendly Label certified employer, DP World offers a wide range of opportunities for UAE nationals. These include:

·      Hands-on training for high school, diploma and university graduates through the Ruwad Graduate Programme

·      Practical private sector experience through the Tumoohi Career Initiative

·      Short summer placements through the Bedaya Summer Programme

·      Structured internships in departments such as engineering, HR, logistics and finance under the Forsa Internship Programme

·      Volunteering opportunities that engage students with the business through the Mubadara Volunteering Programme

This year,  over 150 participants have already benefited from these programmes, reflecting the company’s commitment to local talent development.

At Ru’ya, the company will engage directly with Emirati graduates and professionals to highlight these pathways and build connections with future talent.

Recently, 15 Emirati graduates completed leadership programmes co-hosted by DP World and Schneider Electric, gaining practical experience in sustainability, AI, digital innovation and leadership, showcasing DP World’s commitment to developing a future-ready Emirati workforce.

The company is also recognised for its family-friendly policies, offering enhanced maternity and paternity leave, employee-led parent support groups and plans for an on-site nursery.
