Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Prepare annual budgets for volume, revenue, expenses, and EBITDA in line with Regional Office (RO) guidelines.
- Develop quarterly re-forecasts based on prevailing trends and actual performance.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze the Alpha Report on a monthly basis, highlighting variances between budgeted and actual figures.
- Generate Performance Trackers and conduct monthly variance analysis.
- Prepare Customer-wise Profitability reports monthly.
- Compile and present the CEO MIS Report every month.
Cash Flow & Asset Management:
- Create monthly cash flow projections and compare with actual weekly collections.
- Coordinate with user departments to prepare Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) for asset purchases.
- Ensure timely capitalization of assets in coordination with the GSC GL team.
- Review asset utilization and retire underused assets on a monthly basis.
Receivables & Compliance:
- Conduct Customer-wise follow-ups to ensure Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) meets budget targets.
- Follow up with default vendors for GSTR-1 filings to ensure input tax credit eligibility.
- Prepare monthly accrued income workings with the GSC team.
- Record provisions for general expenses where invoices are pending at month-end.
Reconciliations & Audit Support:
- Perform sales reconciliations between billing software and Oracle (SR & Trial Balance).
- Prepare detailed schedules to support statutory and internal audits.
Vendor & Master Data Management:
- Liaise with the MDM team for vendor creation and updates in Oracle.
Operational Oversight:
- Segregate Line of Business (LOB)-wise revenue and expenses using appropriate trackers.
- Coordinate with user departments to renew statutory and operational licenses (e.g., trade license, CFS/Bonded Warehouse license, property tax, asset/equipment insurance, staff health insurance).
Legal & Regulatory Coordination:
- Follow up with advocates on ongoing legal matters.
- Liaise with government agencies as required for regulatory and compliance matters.
