Air Freight Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Air Freight Business Development Manager to join our growing commercial organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the air freight business portfolio, acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and driving sustainable revenue growth within a highly competitive logistics market. You will play a critical role in expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and contributing directly to ambitious commercial targets.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow the air freight business portfolio by identifying new opportunities and supporting existing customer relationships.
• Contribute to achieving sales and revenue goals through effective customer engagement and business development activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key accounts, and strategic partners.
• Manage commercial discussions and collaborate on customer-focused pricing and service solutions.
• Work closely with Operations and Pricing teams to ensure reliable and competitive service delivery.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline updates, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
• Monitor market trends and share relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights.
• Represent DP World professionally in customer meetings and business development activities,

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in air freight sales, business development, or a similar commercial role.
• Knowledge of air freight operations, market dynamics, and commercial practices.
• Experience in customer acquisition, account management, and business growth activities.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Analytical approach with the ability to manage pipelines and support forecasting activities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
