DP World is committed to working with the government to help local communities develop resilience and effectively cope with climate-induced disasters. In the aftermath of the floods in Kerala in 2018, we undertook massive relief and rehabilitation measures for local communities of people inhabiting the state. One of the early-stage measures in the immediate aftermath of the floods was to focus on the distribution of essential relief materials to people living in 26 relief camps. We also built new houses for 50 families, as part of rebuilding and rehabilitation efforts.
