As Senior Vice President of Economic Zones, Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) vertical, DP World Middle East, North Africa and Subcontinent, Ranjit Ray is responsible for formulating operational strategies, developing multiple logistic infrastructures (domestic and EXIM), and driving FTWZ business growth. He plays an important role in shaping the organization’s change management initiatives, enabling business development.
Ranjit has over two decades of experience across various logistics and Infrastructure verticals such as Port, SEZ, FTZ, CFS, ICD, Rail Terminals, warehousing and mining development, and operations (coal and iron ore) in India and overseas. For over a decade, Ranjit has managed leadership roles with a focus on strategy formulation, P&L management, product launches, business development, implementation, and team management.
Prior to DP World, Ranjit was the Director at Expo Freight Private Limited (Chennai) and Chief Executive Officer at Value Creation Private Limited (Chennai), where he successfully led Greenfield project planning and development across India and overseas.
Ranjit holds a B. Tech in Civil Engineering from the University College of Engineering, Burla, Odisha. He is also a registered Customs House Agent under Rule 9 of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
