Alok Mishra, CEO of DP World Mundra is an accomplished leader with more than 30 years of experience in the maritime and logistics industry. He oversees the business growth and operations of the Mundra International Container Terminal, and the container freight stations in western India. He is passionate about innovation, customer-centricity and operational excellence focused on driving sustained business growth.
Having worked across the globe, Alok’s extensive expertise spans shipping, ports, and terminal operations. He has held leadership positions at AP Moller Maersk’s APM Terminals in Mumbai, where he spearheaded operations and transformation initiatives, and Krishnapatnam Port, where he played a pivotal role in the development of a greenfield container terminal project. His experience also includes strategic and operational roles with leading Indian, Japanese, and Dutch shipping giants, including Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), BigLift, Mammoet, and the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI). Notably, he was part of an Antarctic expedition in 1995.
Alok's extensive expertise in end-to-end logistics is rooted in his 16 years of experience as a mariner and 17 years in port and terminal operations, where he has managed some of the busiest and most complex maritime facilities.
An alumnus of LBS College of Advanced Maritime Studies and Research, Mumbai, Alok has further honed his strategic leadership skills through management programs at IMD, Switzerland.
