QICT sits just 15km from the National Highway with direct road access to upcountry markets . Six rail tracks connect the terminal directly to the national network, providing seamless hinterland connectivity. The terminal avoids congestion whilst offering 13-metre deep drafts, dedicated trailer parking for 400 export trucks, and vast growth capacity.

Integrated off-dock services

We operate the DP World Sultanabad, a 10-acre off-dock facility with capacity to handle 4,500 TEUs monthly. This facility provides seamless clearance for traders using Karachi as their clearance point, with customs bonds enabling direct EXIM container transportation between QICT and NLC for streamlined operations.

DP World Karachi operates empty container depots at Port Qasim for storage and release, with 24/7 operations, washing and repair facilities, and online release and delivery order systems. You get end-to-end container management, supporting efficient turnaround times and seamless logistics operations.

What type of cargo can be handled and accepted at CFS/MTO?

QICT handles diverse containerised cargo including full container load (FCL) and less than container load (LCL) shipments. Our facilities accommodate general cargo, waste paper, scrap metals, vehicles, baggage and project cargo, with specialised handling for out-of-gauge, hazardous and temperature-controlled shipments ensuring safe, compliant operations for all cargo types.

Can the TP consignments be cleared from the CFS instead of from the Terminal?

For CFS category only FCL / LCL cargo TP is allowed.

Can export cargo be handled at CFS/MTO?

No, we do not handle export cargo here.
