DP World and NLC have launched the first-ever feeder service for shipment of containers connecting Jebel Ali Port in Dubai to Karachi and worldwide markets. This initiative marks an important development in Pakistan's logistics sector, strengthening its connectivity to regional and global markets.

DP World and NLC have shipped more than 1,000 containers between Pakistan and Bangladesh since launching the first direct shipping route between the two countries in October, a strategic initiative that enables a 50% reduction in transit times, improves connectivity by eliminating transshipment, and establishes a more competitive, reliable logistics solution for the region.

DP World and NLC are developing a $400m freight corridor with Pakistan Railways. Once operational, the new rail corridor will connect Karachi Port with Pipri Yard, 45 kilometres away, enabling faster unloading of ships and quicker movement of goods up-country through the national rail network, enhancing imports, exports, and overall economic activity.
