P&O FERRIES

A DP World Company

P&O Ferries runs high-frequency freight and passenger services between the UK and mainland Europe, with crossings built around the timings customers plan to.

For cargo owners and hauliers, that means frequent departures on key routes, capacity for both accompanied and unaccompanied freight, and experienced teams at every port who know how to turn a vessel round efficiently. Drivers get predictable slots, planners get schedules they can build around, and shipments keep moving through peak season and unpredictable weather alike.

MARINE SERVICES FAQs

Our marine services brings shipping solutions, multimodal logistics, and maritime solutions together under one network. This spans feedering and shortsea routes, road and rail connections, offshore support, and port services, so vessels keep moving, cargo keeps flowing, and businesses stay connected between regional ports and inland markets.

Beyond ocean freight, our multimodal network connects onward by road, rail, and coastal services, so cargo can continue from the arrival port to an inland destination without switching providers or handling agents.

We offer comprehensive marine and offshore services. Offshore, we specialise in vessel chartering, crew transfer, and energy support. Onshore, we excel in container handling, cargo transport, and terminal logistics, ensuring seamless global operations.

We are working to reduce our carbon footprint by 25% through initiatives including hull cleaning and coating, the use of biofuels, and the introduction of newer, more efficient vessels. We also offer tools such as GreenBox, enabling customers to offset emissions from the seaborne legs of their supply chain. Together, these efforts support our long-term ambition to achieve net zero by 2050, measured against a 2022 emissions baseline.
