Intermodal Connectivity
Intermodal connectivity driving supply chain efficiency
Date: 31/08/2021
As trade enablers, we take our mission to the next level. Proud to announce that today marked a new milestone for our company’s service offering in Romania. Jointly with our global partner in the agricultural business, and other business partners, our companies designed a new logistics solution. Empty containers loaded on barge in our Constanta deep-sea terminal, traveled to The Great Braila Island where containers are being stuffed with cargo. Further on, the full containers are loaded back on barge and travel to DP World Constanta, where they will further be loaded on mainliner vessels to their final export destination. By focusing on intermodal connectivity and co-locating logistics facilities with port operations we are able to drive supply chain efficiencies that cut costs and time lost for our customers.
