Zeeshan Mukhi

Vice President – Freight Forwarding, DP World Subcontinent

As the Vice President for Freight Forwarding in India, Zeeshan R. Mukhi is responsible for scaling DP World’s freight forwarding offerings in the country, leveraging the extensive end to end logistics infrastructure of the company across continents. With over two decades of experience across India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Singapore, Zeeshan brings a wealth of expertise in both commercial and operational domains across India, Sri Lanka, and Singapore.

His extensive background provides him with a deep understanding of container shipping, supply chain management, logistics infrastructure, and network transport businesses.  In his most recent role Zeeshan served as Head of Strategy for DP World’s logistics business in the Subcontinent driving commercial and operational excellence while cultivating strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

Prior to joining us, he had a distinguished tenure at Maersk in several leadership roles including the Director of Customer Experience for South Asia at Maersk and Managing Director of Maersk Lanka Private Limited where he expanded the business into the Maldives. As Senior Director and Head of the GSC Philippines, he led the Maersk Global Service Centre (GSC) in Manila and successfully established a new capability centre in Vietnam. In his role as Area Customer Experience Manager for India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, Zeeshan was instrumental in delivering end-to-end solutions. 

His career highlights include implementing transformative strategies and driving operational excellence. He has played pivotal roles in expanding business operations and fostering customer-centric cultures in the past.  Zeeshan holds a bachelor’s degree in management studies from Mumbai University and a micro master’s degree in supply chain management from MIT Sloan. Additionally, he has completed the Leadership Transformation & Strategy program at IMD Lausanne.
