As Country Manager DP World India Subcontinent, Hemant Kumar Ruia leads the businesses in India, driving business growth and operational excellence. He is also the Chief Financial Officer for the India business overseeing all aspects of the Finance function.
A Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Cost Accountant, he has more than three decades of extensive experience in business partnerships, finance, strategy, commercial operations, risk management, investor relations, legal, secretarial, information technology, listed company-related compliances, and procurement.
Prior to DP World, Hemant has held leadership roles at Indian and global conglomerates such as L&T, ICI India, Reckitt Benckiser, ConAgra India, Reliance Retail, and Indus Towers. Known for his strategic mindset and collaborative leadership, Hemant has been passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering sustained business value.
