As the Vice President for Legal & Governance, DP World Subcontinent, Aparna Chablani is responsible for the overall legal, compliance, and governance of the various portfolio companies of DP World in India and forging strategic relations with key stakeholders. Aparna comes with over 28 years of experience in the field of legal practices and company governance.
Aparna has vast experience in handling complex litigation matters and plays a key role in the new acquisitions and investment proposals at DP World. She specializes in contract law, dispute resolutions, litigations, M&A, competition law, regulatory issues, compliance, and corporate governance.
She plays an active role in the Sustainability committee and the I&D council. She is also a Board member of various DP World group companies and its committees in India. In her celebrated career of almost three decades, Aparna has led deployment of compliance management frameworks across various businesses.
Aparna is a Certified Corporate Director from the Institute of Directors and a fellow member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in law and is certified in Logistic Excellence from the Indian School of Business.
