DP World Yarımca is raising the bar with its solution-oriented team

We interviewed Baymineral Founding Partner Mustafa Bayraktar.

-Can you tell us a little about your company? 

Baymineral Company is a trading house founded by Nurettin Bayraktar in 2014. As of the end of 2018 Baymineral has reached a trading value of 10,000 TEU.  Our company ships products, which are procured from  different locations, to 72 ports in 21 countries. Baymineral attaches great importance to transparency and customer satisfaction and has grown 5 times in operation and service quality since the day it was founded. Our company’s main product is sulphur and we have specialized in providing it in containers. Our company motto is this: “Tell us what you need and we’ll create a custom project for you.”

- In your opinion, what is the most important feature a port should possess? 

It’s ability to provide fast, correct and hassle-free service.

- Which services do you receive from the DP World port?

We receive container stuffing and weighing control services for packaged cargo. We also take pride in having completed DP World Yarımca’s first bulk vessel project. 

- Why did you choose DP World Yarımca? 

DP World Yarımca’s sales team cares about business development. Our job is to develop new projects and we think that DP World Yarımca is one of the right ports to receive service on project development. Its team is professional, dynamic and customer-focused, and they have the same operation principles as Baymineral.

-To what extent does DP World Yarımca meet your expectations?

DP World Yarımca meets our expectations because they are solution-oriented. In addition, DP World sets the bar high in our every loading operation and that’s why our expectations keep rising.

- What other means of transport do you use for your products? (railway, truck, etc.)

We use all means of haulage except airline transport. That is the only way to provide service and deliver our products to so many places on earth.

- Which countries do you mostly trade with?

We have sources and customers in many places worldwide. Even though it changes seasonally, we can say that we mostly work with Far Eastern countries. 

- Do you procure raw materials from Turkey or do you import them? If yes, what mode of transportation do you use?

We’re a raw material supplier. As far as Turkey is concerned, all the instruments we use for handling and operation are of Turkey origin. Cross-trade operations are one of our specialties and we execute our operations from other source providing countries via sea, road and rail.
