BRINGING THE WORLD'S BEST GOLF TO INDIA
DP World and the DP World Tour launched the DP World India Championship in 2025. Co-sanctioned with the DP World Professional Golf Tour of India, it gives Indian golfers a stage alongside golf's biggest names, on home soil.
The championship is the eighth of nine events in the Back 9 phase of the Race to Dubai, the run up to the DP World Tour Championship and the season finale at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai. It's also a direct expression of our commitment to India, where we have been investing in ports, logistics and the communities around them for decades.
I’ve always enjoyed playing a global schedule so I was excited to visit India for the first time last season to be part of the inaugural DP World India Championship. The golf fans in India were so welcoming, and the whole experience was truly memorable, so it’s a pleasure to be returning to Delhi in October.
The DP World India Championship continues to strengthen India’s presence on the global golfing calendar. Through our partnership with the DP World Tour and the DP World PGTI, we are proud to create opportunities for Indian players to compete alongside the world’s best and inspire the next generation of talent.
