As the logistics industry gathers this month between 2–5 June in Munich for the highly anticipated Transport Logistic event, I want to use this time to reflect on the current state and future of our sector. With over 64,000 expected attendees from 120 nations, the event is set to be one of the largest in the logistics calendar, and we are front and centre to showcase what’s next in end-to-end solutions.

But how is DP World supporting this growth?

In the whirlwind of innovation, challenges, and evolving customer demands, one thing is certain: the conversation around end-to-end logistics is evolving rapidly. This year, we’re presenting several breakthrough initiatives, including our Maritime Intermodal solution, which has already received outstanding feedback. We’re not just talking about moving goods; we’re reshaping how supply chains function - from factory floor to customer door. This commitment is clearly reflected in the latest chapter of our European growth story: Swissterminal AG has embarked on a new phase of expansion as part of DP World, solidifying our presence in the heart of Europe. With new integrated rail and barge services into Switzerland, we are reinforcing our ability to offer true, end-to-end logistics across the continent.

Innovation remains the heartbeat of everything we do. In addition to the Maritime Intermodal initiative, we are thrilled to announce that DP World has officially received the keys to a new multi-client facility located just north of Frankfurt, Germany. Spanning 27,200 m², this state-of-the-art site is tailored to the exacting standards of the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. It features ambient (15–25°C), cold (2–8°C), and frozen (-20°C) storage, alongside secure bunkers for dangerous goods. Designed for multimodal flexibility: barge, rail, truck, and air - this new hub exemplifies our end-to-end service promise and our focus on high-compliance, high-value industries.

Looking ahead, we continue to advance our Lead Logistics solution, acting as a single control tower to manage complexity and unlock efficiency across global operations. Combined with our growing network, digital platforms, and a strong focus on sustainability - including our Modal Shift and Carbon Inset Programme - we are building logistics solutions that are smarter, greener, and more responsive than ever.

We invite you to join us at Transport Logistic Munich 2025 to experience these innovations firsthand. Visit us in Hall B5, Stand 201/302—we look forward to shaping the future of logistics with you.
