Integrated Logistics Solutions: The Future of Supply Chain Success
Explore how integrated logistics solutions can transform your supply chain.

A groundbreaking survey highlights a significant industry shift: businesses are increasingly prioritizing integrated logistics solutions that provide end-to-end services in a bid to drive operational efficiency and address sustainability.
The survey, conducted by MindMiners, EXAME, and DP World, gathered insights from over 200 supply chain executives in Latin America to showcase how companies view their logistics providers as strategic partners. Beyond cost-benefit analysis, businesses now seek providers capable of driving efficiency, reducing risk, and supporting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.
Key Insights on the Shift Toward Integrated Logistics
This research offers a closer look at the evolving supply chain landscape and the advantages of integrated services.
- Demand for End-to-End Solutions: 69% of respondents identify cost savings, risk reduction, and optimized management as the top benefits of integrated logistics providers.
- Supplier Consolidation is Key: 55% of companies are consolidating suppliers to streamline processes and cut costs, with 50% accelerating digitalization and automation efforts.
- Sustainability Takes Center Stage: 74% of respondents see sustainable practices as a growing priority compared to three years ago, with 67% indicating that sustainability and decarbonization influence supplier selection.
- DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) in Supply Chains: 46% of businesses offer DEI training to employees, while 31% consider DEI critical when selecting suppliers.
- Modernization of Infrastructure: DP World is investing $83 million to expand the Port of Santos, increasing capacity to 1.7 million TEUs and supporting Brazilian foreign trade growth.
Why Integration and Sustainability Matter
The survey underscores a clear trend: businesses are no longer just looking for logistics providers—they’re looking for partners. Companies that offer integrated, end-to-end solutions are better positioned to deliver:
- Operational Efficiency: Streamlined processes save time and reduce costs.
- Risk Mitigation: Reliable partners help companies navigate supply chain disruptions.
- Sustainability Advantage: ESG-focused solutions improve reputation, attract partners, and drive long-term growth.
“The market demands assertive and complete management of supplier processes to reduce efforts, costs, and directly increase operational efficiency. DP World’s commitment to sustainability will increasingly be a fundamental factor, partnering in the complete process of its suppliers, building and maintaining solid relationships, offering logistical solutions from the factory floor to the customer’s door. The gains are impressive.” said Fábio Siccherino, CEO of DP World Brazil.
