DP World Santos announces the hiring of Márcio Medina as the company's new Sales Director.
The executive comes to assume the position previously held by Fábio Siccherino, who since April has acted as CEO, besides acting in the institutional agendas of the DP World Group in Brazil.
The new executive takes office this July and arrives to expand the marketing and performance of services provided by DP World Santos, focusing on multimodality and diversification of cargo.
With solid professional experience in the area and in the logistics sector, Márcio accumulates more than 20 years of experience in training and leading sales and post-sales teams, negotiation processes, services marketing and pricing strategy, and competition analysis. He worked for two years at logistics operator Tora, also as Sales Director. Before that, he worked for seven years at VLI and nine years at Vale, as Sales Manager, After-Sales and Business Development Manager.
He has a degree in Business Administration with specialization in Foreign Trade from Universidade de Salvador and an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, a Post-MBA from Kellogg School of Management, and a professional extension from The Wharton School, in specializations in Business, Leadership, Negotiation, and Strategy.
