SHAPING THE FUTURE OF TARTUS PORT

STRONGER CAPACITY, SAFER OPERATIONS.

Our long-term modernisation programme is dredging access channels, basins and berths, upgrading quays, yards and warehouses, rehabilitating existing equipment and introducing specialised assets and digital systems.

Together, these investments open the port to a wider range of vessels and cargo, and they give it the productivity and operational control needed to handle them. The result is a port that works harder for your cargo at every stage, from arrival to onward movement.

We are modernising cargo handling operations at Tartus with new equipment, improved processes and digital planning tools. This helps your cargo move through the terminal more quickly, reliably and with greater visibility, with further capability introduced as the modernisation programme progresses.

Our equipment investment programme began in 2026 with the arrival of the first modern mobile harbour crane. Three additional cranes are planned for 2027, followed by seven more units, with further equipment investment to be introduced in line with market demand and national priorities.
