DP World Callao is the economic heart of Peru, handling over 90% of the country's containerised cargo, with 60% moving through our South Terminal. Following our $400 million Bicentennial Pier expansion, we now operate a 1,050-metre quay capable of handling three ultra-large container vessels simultaneously, with an annual capacity of nearly 3 million TEUs.
We're the first port terminal to receive the Peru Brand, a national recognition that honours our contribution to Peru's economic development and international trade. Through innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth, we're connecting Peru to the world.
STATE OF THE ART INFRASTRUCTURE
Our 40-hectare terminal features one of South America's longest berths, equipped with advanced gantry and yard cranes for efficient container handling. We operate state-of-the-art electric-powered equipment, including Latin America's first electric charging station for port equipment, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable port operations.
