Container handling
Loading and unloading containers from vessels, managing storage in the terminal, and maintenance and repair services. With advanced cranes and handling equipment, we ensure quick turnaround times with a strong focus on safety.
Project cargo handling
By co-ordinating route planning, permits, specialised handling equipment and on-site support at origin and destination, we enable safe and timely delivery of unique, high value, and complex cargo.
Stuffing and stripping
Loading and securing goods into containers to maximise space and prevent damage during transit, and container stripping (or destuffing) for unloading and sorting of cargo upon arrival.
Transshipment
Transshipment services facilitate seamless cargo transfers between vessels, making cargo journeys faster and more efficient. This process reduces shipping times and costs, contributing to a greener, more reliable supply chain.
Customs formalities
We ensure your EXIM shipments meet regulatory compliance, assisting with documentation preparation and submission, customs declarations, payment of duties and taxes, inspection, and clearance.
Extended gate facilities
Smarter, automated gates with RFID, OCR, and kiosks identify vehicles and containers, process documentation, and control access, enhancing efficiency and security, reducing wait times and speeding up turnaround.

AT THE PORT
Marine services
Mundra Port offers essential marine services, including pilotage for safe vessel navigation, towage to assist with docking and undocking, and a Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) to monitor vessel movements for safety. The port also provides bunkering services for fuel supply, ship repair and maintenance for vessel upkeep, and freshwater supply along with waste reception to ensure environmental compliance. These services ensure smooth and secure port operations.
Crane services
Mundra Port offers a comprehensive range of crane services to enhance cargo handling efficiency. Our fleet includes mobile cranes, reach stackers, and container cranes, capable of lifting all cargo types and heavy loads with precision. Our experienced operators ensure safe and timely operations for loading and unloading containers, bulk cargo, and project cargo. With advanced technology and regular maintenance, our crane services ensure seamless cargo handling and minimising turnaround time for vessels.
Export services
Mundra Port offers a wide range of export services to ensure efficient shipping operations. Documentation assistance helps businesses prepare essential export paperwork, including bills of lading and export declarations. Expert customs clearance ensures compliance with regulations and facilitating smooth inspections. With containerisation services, cargo is securely loaded and sealed for transport. Warehousing solutions include safe storage options, even temperature-controlled facilities. The port ensures goods are properly packed and labeled through packing services that meet international standards. DATA-DRIVEN EFFICIENCY
Mundra MICT uses an in-house developed Terminal Operating System (Zodiac) which is maintained and developed by DP World and used across DP World terminals.
- Zodiac container management software is used to capture real-time information of containers getting discharged, loaded, gated in and gated out, and shifting to different locations in the yards.
- The Zodiac application used for planning also optimises productivity by managing and maintaining terminal business transactions and data processing while accurately recording and invoicing all transactions and services.
- The Zodiac application automates billings, data exchange and reporting functions while capturing a complete history of all transactions and work.
- Dynamic reporting capabilities put key information at the terminal managers' fingertips, enabling them to track performance, improve customer service and increase profitability.
MUNDRA CONTAINER FREIGHT STATION
The efficiency of Mundra Port operations is enhanced by the support of an adjacent 50 acre CFS, with a capacity of 120,000 TEUs, warehousing space of 17,500 sqm, and equipped to handle all types of ODC cargo.
