KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TERMINAL

We operate berths 0-7 at Terminal 1 of the port of Dar es Salaam.

TERMINAL DIMENSIONS

  • Berth 0 for Pure Car Carriers with 12.9m draft chart datum.
    Berths 1-4 for break bulk (BBK) and dry bulk vessels with 14.5m draft.
  • Berths 5-7 with 550m quay length, 14.5m draft, capable of berthing two vessels simultaneously.

  • Terminal is supported by port extension facilities (ICDs/ICDVs) that transfer containers and RORO vehicles to decongest the facility.
