We provide essential EXIM container weighing service at London Gateway and Southampton terminals to comply with the international maritime legislation that requires a Verified Gross Mass (VGM) for all export containers. 

Shippers can either pay DP World to weigh the container at the terminal, or provide a VGM certificate themselves by submitting the information to the shipping line, who must then communicate it to DP World. The weighing process is integrated into the normal terminal operations and does not affect road or rail services.
