Abdulla Al Hashmi leads DP World’s Global Parks and Economic Zones pillar,where he oversees a growing international portfolio of trade hubs across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia, with a focus on operational efficiency, strategic coordination and commercial growth.
Alongside leading the global portfolio, he serves as Chief Operating Officer of DP World’s flagship Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), Dubai Auto Zone, National Industries Park and Dubai Maritime City, as well as the upcoming Dubai Food District and Dubai Auto Market – the largest such markets in their categories in the world. These assets play a central role in Dubai’s trade ecosystem, supporting thousands of companies across sectors including logistics, automotive, manufacturing, food, healthcare and e-commerce.
Abdulla works closely with DP World’s Global Ports & Terminals, Logistics and Corporate Finance and Business Development functions to drive alignment and consistency across global operations.
He brings over 16 years of experience across finance, commerce and business development and has been a key contributor to DP World’s evolution into a global smart trade enabler since he joined in 2010.
A seasoned industry professional, Abdulla serves as Director on several DP World boards and other entities.
