Matthew Clifft serves as Chief Financial Officer at DP World Dar es Salaam, bringing over 25 years of global experience across finance, operations, and executive leadership. His career spans multiple industries, including ports and terminals, manufacturing, and consumer products, with leadership roles across the UK, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

Before joining DP World, Matthew held senior positions at Hutchison Ports, including CEO of Tanzania International Container Terminal Services (TICTS) and CFO, where he played a key role in driving operational and financial performance. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly two decades at Avon Products, leading finance functions across multiple international markets and delivering significant growth, cost optimization, and business transformation initiatives.

Matthew is a strategic business partner with deep expertise in financial management, transformation, and governance. He is known for strengthening financial performance, leading complex restructuring efforts, and supporting sustainable business growth.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Loughborough University.
