Babayemi Babajide

Babajide Babayemi leads the Information Technology function at DP World Dar es Salaam, driving digital transformation and integrating advanced systems to support efficient, future-ready port operations.

With over 15 years of international experience across ports, logistics, and technology consulting, Babajide brings deep expertise in systems integration, automation, and terminal operating systems. Prior to joining DP World, he held senior consulting roles at Navis (Kaleris), where he led the implementation of terminal systems across major global ports, including automated and semi-automated facilities in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.

Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at APM Terminals in Nigeria, where he oversaw IT strategy, infrastructure, and business systems supporting port operations. His work has consistently focused on optimising performance through technology, strengthening system resilience, and delivering data-driven solutions.

Babajide is recognised for his strong technical leadership, project delivery, and ability to bridge business needs with innovative digital solutions.

He holds a Master of Information Technology from Deakin University.
