Joanne Traice

Joanne is Group Chief Internal Audit Officer at DP World, having joined the Group in 2007. She is responsible for leading the Group’s Business Audit, Technology Audit, Fraud Risk Services, Enterprise Risk & Resilience and Digital Assurance Solutions teams.  Joanne works closely alongside the global Executive Leadership team to provide independent risk insight, support and assurance on robust risk management, governance and control across the company’s global portfolio.

Joanne is DP World’s Executive Sponsor – Women and is Chair of DP World’s Women’s Council, to help drive gender equality across the group.  

Joanne has 25 years of experience spanning across Europe, Middle East & Africa, Sub-Continent, Americas and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining DP World, Joanne worked with PwC in both the UK and UAE for nine years, providing audit and assurance services to various multinational companies.  

Joanne is a qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and an authorised Training Principal for the ICAEW’s ACA qualification. In 2014, Joanne was awarded the Qualification in Internal Audit Leadership from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
