Jason Varsamidis
Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, DP World Asia Pacific
Jason Varsamidis is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of DP World Asia Pacific. He leads Asia Pacific’s portfolio of ports and terminals and logistics businesses across 22 geographies, with more than 12,000 employees.
Appointed in October 2026, Jason has spent nearly 30 years with DP World, rising from managerial roles to regional chief executive. He steps into the role from Chief Financial Officer of DP World Asia Pacific and has overseen mergers and acquisitions, business development, infrastructure projects, technology and joint venture management, in addition to performance improvement and business turnaround programmes that drove DP World APAC’s transformation.
Jason began his career in 1997 as an analyst with the then P&O Group. He went on to lead as Regional Treasurer, Operations Infrastructure Manager, and National Strategy and Development Manager.
He holds a Master of Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia and is an executive graduate of the Maritime Academy in New York.
