Ravinder Johal

Ravinder Johal is COO - Ports and Terminals, Commercial and Operations for the Subcontinent, Central Asia, Levant & Egypt region. He leads the growth and performance of the ports and terminals business across the region, drawing on over three decades of experience in maritime and container line operations, and drives operational excellence and strategic expansion. He has three decades of experience in maritime and container line operations.
 

Prior to his current role, he headed our container terminals at Nhava Sheva, Maharashtra where he was responsible for delivering an efficient and professional experience to customers and drive growth of the terminal. Ravinder has been with DP World since 2016. Before joining DP World, he headed operations for the subcontinent region of American President Lines. He has also been the regional operations head for north and west India for Maersk Line.
 

Ravinder is a qualified Master Mariner from the UK with over a decade of sailing experience on various kinds of cargo ships. Ravinder holds a Business and Technical Education Council diploma in nautical science from South Tyneside College UK, a diploma in container terminal management from North West Kent College, and also holds a NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
