Jibu Kurien Itty

As Chief Executive Officer at DP World Ports & Terminals, Nhava Sheva, Jibu K. Itty oversees the Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal (NSICT) as well as Nhava Sheva (India) Gateway Terminal (NSIGT). Jibu is also the Regional Head, Operations & Engineering and Head, Container Freight Stations (CFS) at DP World Subcontinent.

At DP World, Jibu has previously served as Chief Executive Officer of DP World Cochin, General Manager of Operations at DP World Mundra, and Terminal General Manager at Indira Container Terminal Pvt Ltd., amongst various other profiles during the tenure of his diverse career. Jibu focuses on designing strategies that promote ease of movement of cargo from various hinterlands of DP World.

Jibu has vast experience in setting up and managing diversified businesses both on a strategic and operational level. He has been instrumental in defining operational processes that are effective, seamless, and customer-centric. He has also played a key role in improving the services and financial performance of all the companies he has been previously associated with.

He has chaired various pieces of training and conferences relating to port management, strategy, analysis, systems, and technologies with a view to improving his skills on a continuous basis and sharing his views on the improvement of trade. Jibu takes an active interest in implementing projects under CSR which have had a large impact on local communities.
