Anil Mohta

Anil Mohta is the Group Chief Financial Officer at DP World. He leads the company’s finance function, including corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, insurance, investor relations and business development. He works closely with the CEO on strategic, financial and risk matters, supporting long-term planning and enterprise-wide decision-making.

Anil has almost three decades of experience in global infrastructure and supply chains, spanning ports, marine services, and logistics. Prior to his current role, he served as Group Chief Corporate Finance & Business Development Officer, where he was responsible for DP World’s investments, capital needs and strategic investor relationships and supported the Group’s long-term growth initiatives.

Over the course of his tenure, he has been involved in a number of significant strategic and financing transactions, including the $8.0bn monetisation of a minority stake in Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone assets, the $9.0bn debt raising to delist DP World, and the $8.2bn global partnership with CDPQ. He has also supported the development of DP World’s logistics and marine capabilities, as well as the establishment of strategic partnerships across key markets.

Anil has consistently emphasised disciplined capital allocation and long-term value creation, with a focus on return on capital employed as a core performance metric across the Group’s portfolio.

He serves on the boards/committees of several DP World entities globally, where he contributes to strengthened governance frameworks, systems, and efficiency initiatives, as well as enterprise risk oversight.

Earlier in his career, Anil served as Regional Finance Head for DP World’s Americas region and worked with the joint venture between APM Terminals and the Government of Oman in Salalah. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
