Ahmad Yousef Al Hassan

Ahmad Al-Hassan manages DP World’s portfolio in the GCC region including Ports and Terminals, Economic Zones, Marine Services, Logistics and Trade Solutions.

Appointed in February 2026, Ahmad previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at DP World GCC from 2021 to 2026.  

Ahmad leads the company’s business strategies in key regional markets, including the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Oman. His focus is on delivering end-to-end solutions for cargo owners, building world-class trade infrastructure across ports, terminals and free zones and driving greater supply chain efficiency, transparency, resilience and sustainability.

Previously, Ahmad oversaw financial strategy, planning, treasury, tax, investment governance, capital allocation, corporate finance and business development and managed the legal and corporate services functions.

Ahmad has over 23 years of international experiences across Dubai, Washington DC, London and Hong Kong spanning logistics, treasury, real estate, banking and healthcare.

Since joining DP World in 2010, he has held senior roles in Group Treasury and Business Development at the Corporate Head Office. He was also Deputy Chief Financial Officer at London Gateway in the UK and served as CFO for DP World’s Asia Pacific region in Hong Kong.

Ahmed serves as a board member for several companies in the UAE and Oman while previously holding board positions across DP World’s business units in South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
