Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT) is Pakistan’s Gateway to the World. The Muhammad Bin Qasim Port Project is the one of the largest port privatization projects in Pakistan and is a testament to the Government’s commitment to providing the international trade community with a world class port facility supported by the latest technologies and second to none efficiency. As part of the plan a container terminal was conceptualized, and with that the Qasim International Container Terminal was born. Commencing operations in 1997, the success of the container terminal has been an engine for economic development in the country and has created a significant number of job opportunities for local nationals in addition to new business opportunities for local companies in the region.

Today the capacity of the Terminal 1 & Terminal 2 is 1.38 million TEUs. Over the last 25 years of operations the terminal has grown and now handles more than 650 vessels annually.
