We celebrated International Women’s Day
Women employees of DP World Yarımca Container Terminal got together on March 8th to celebrate International Women’s Day. Answering women employees’ questions at the gathering, DP World Yarımca CEO said women and men must be able to work under fair conditions and in every position.
DP World Yarımca employees gathered for the fourth of the company’s traditional International Women’s Day event on March 8th.
Speaking at the event, CEO Kris Adams answered women employees’ questions and said they are striving to provide fairer conditions at the work place and would like to see women employees in every position at the port.
After the cake cutting ceremony, special gift packages were handed out to women employees. The package included products produced by the Foundation for the Support of Women’s Work in order to contribute to the foundation’s efforts for empowering low-income women.
