Appointment of Alexandru Craciun as Head of Governmental Affairs for DP World in Romania

We are pleased to announce a new addition to our team. Alexandru Craciun joined us as Head of Governmental Affairs for DP World in Romania. Alexandru will be assisting us in achieving our strategic country wide objectives, by focusing on mutually beneficial relationships with governmental entities, trade associations and other stakeholders along the global supply chain – relationships built on a foundation of mutual trust and enduring partnership.

Alexandru Craciun is a port professional with a career spanning for more than 16 years in this industry. His practical experience in the port sector started in 2005 when he began working for the Constanta Port Administration, in various roles, which gave him a very clear picture of the main challenges and opportunities the port business communities from Central and Eastern Europe are facing.

In the last 5 years, while acting as Commercial Director for the Port of Constanta Administration, he was involved in different working committees of the European Sea Ports Organization, an activity through which he developed a sound knowledge about the European ports, institutions and policy makers.
