Children Drawing Competition 2015
Date: 22/06/2015
“Children Drawing Competition Campaign 2015” was launched this year with two themes ‘Come Home Safe’ & ‘Reduce Reuse Recycle’ .
We are happy to announce that we organized two sessions this year, one on June 6th with 20 children from the Foster home "Delfinul" from Agigea and the second session on June 13th with 70 children of DP World Constanta employees. Through these sessions the children were informed regarding the importance of the recycling process and the recycling methods implemented by our terminal. In the second session, our employees children together with children from the Foster Home "Micul Rotterdam” built a model of the terminal from recyclable materials, while one of their colleague made two drawings with a pyrography machine in line with the contest theme. All the children were rewarded for their work with specific gifts for their age.
The aim of these campaigns is to increase the awareness regarding the selective collection and environmental protection.
