In September, we facilitated a trial export that saw minerals transported through the Maputo port, demonstrating the strength and efficiency of our integrated supply chain solutions. From start to finish, DP World provided an end-to-end service to ensure a seamless process.

The shipment began with the loading of bulk cargo into 1-ton bags at the mine, followed by transportation to the Maputo Inland Container Depot (MICD) for storage. The cargo was then transferred to its final destination after being carefully loaded into seven containers at the DP World Maputo Container Terminal. These containers, supplied by Unifeeder, were part of the larger, efficient shipment that reflects DP World’s ability to offer comprehensive logistics solutions.

This successful trial underscores our commitment to providing world-class services and infrastructure to support the region's mineral exports. We are thrilled to continue building stronger trade relationships and enhancing the capacity of the Maputo port.
