DP World Paramaribo
In August 2011, DP World acquired majority shares in Integra Port Services NV (founded in June 2008) by our local shareholder, as a subsidiary company of the Holding Integra Marine & Freight Services. With this acquisition, Integra Port Services NV changed its entity name to Integra Port Services /DP World Paramaribo at the chamber of commerce, with DP World Paramaribo as its brand name. The facility at the Jules Sedney terminal can also be used as a multi-purpose terminal to handle large breakbulk quantities and project cargo.

DP World La Vigilantia
With the acquisition of Integra Port Services NV, DP World also acquired Suriname Port Services NV which is a subsidiary company of DP World Paramaribo. With the DP World business transformation trajectory Suriname Port Services NV also underwent a name change and is now branded as DP World Port of La Vigilantia. DP World La Vigilantia offers agency services and also terminal services at its facility at La Vigilantia Para, which is mainly dedicated to handle industrial cargo and can also be used as facility to accommodate the Oil & Gas sector.

Business transformation
In 2021 DP World launched its business- and brand transformation trajectory with our new purpose to make trade flow and change what’s possible for everyone. Through this change DP World launched it's ambition to become an end-to-end logistics supply chain provider by launching 4 business brands namely Marine services, Port & Terminal, Economic Zone and Logistics. In alignment with this transition DP World Paramaribo launch DP World Logistics Suriname NV in 2022. Through DP World Logistics Suriname N.V. we offer integrated logistics solutions across the globe through our global network. We offer a wide range of logistics services such as ocean – and air freight services, all around logistics services.
