Financial Reporting & Control Manager

We are looking for a Financial Reporting and Control Manager to join our team in Kocaeli, Türkiye. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the financial reporting, controlling, budgeting, and treasury functions while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and DP World policies. You will provide accurate financial insights that support strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement across finance operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial reporting and controlling function, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate, reliable, and insightful financial information to support business decisions.
• Manage the annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and financial planning processes while monitoring performance against budgets and reporting key variances.
• Monitor cash flow, oversee treasury operations, and safeguard the company's financial assets through effective financial risk management.
• Ensure full compliance with Turkish statutory requirements, IFRS, DP World policies, and all applicable financial regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
• Oversee billing processes to ensure invoices are issued accurately and in accordance with commercial agreements, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Continuously review and improve finance systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other key external stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement within the finance function.
• Support business improvement initiatives, participate in cross-functional projects, and act as a strong ambassador for DP World.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, SMMM, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial reporting and controlling, including at least 4–5 years in an audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP, TFRS, IFRS, Turkish Corporate Tax legislation, and indirect taxes such as VAT.
• Experience with IFRS 16, IAS 29, and multi-currency reporting is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information.
• Proven experience in leading, developing, and mentoring high-performing finance teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications; experience with MS Navision or similar ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in both English and Turkish, written and spoken.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and identify opportunities for financial improvement and cost optimization.
