People

People at the heart of our sustainable growth

Investing in employees is investing in the future and continuity of our terminal. After all, our employees are the ones who ensure that our operational activities can continue. In a 24/7 environment, this is even more important.

Employees

Despite the increased job rotation due to COVID-19 and the current difficulty in filling vacancies, the number of employees has remained more or less stable over the past three years, as has the diversity of our workforce (male/female ratio, nationalities, average age).

Wellbeing

DP World invested in a number of welfare initiatives to keep people on board as much as possible. DP World is also making great efforts to increase the proportion of female employees.

Over the last three years, all regular dock workers at DP World have undergone an internal general HSE refresher on the most important safety and environmental aspects at our terminal.
